Uniform & Equipment

Each sector has a specific uniform which each student is expected to wear. Depending upon the course, this may include an element for practical activities and also items for classroom based learning. Some sectors also require the purchase of a kit or textbooks.

Students must arrive prepared to learn wearing your uniform. Failure to do so is regarded as a behaviour issue. If a uniform is not required students should attend in smart professional business dress. This means items such as hoodies, jeans, shorts, vest tops, hats and trainers are not allowed.

The Maltings College supports students to apply for Bursary Funding. The bursary provides support for eligible students who may otherwise find the cost of attending college, equipment or trips a barrier to education. All students receive detailed information about the scheme during their induction.
