Student contract

The Student Contract is issued during induction to the college and sets out the basis of the college’s expectations for both parents and students and formalises what you can expect from us.

Upon starting at the college, each student is asked to sign a copy of the contract as well as their parents or carers. As well as outlining our agreement to provide your young person with the best possible education and support, your signature signifies your commitment to working with us to achieve this.

Students are also asked to sign the agreement that is within their handbook, to show that they too are willing to make the most of the opportunities that are available to them. They can view the agreement within their handbook to be reminded of the pledge they have made to upholding excellent standards of behaviour and effort.

It is a requirement that all parents sign the Student Contract when their young person joins the college. We believe that formalising our expectations, and providing you with a clear summary of what you can expect from us, provides a helpful reference point.
